What is the difference between a chip bag label and a chip bag?
A chip bag label can be a full wrapper printed on glossy paper or a round or rectangular adhesive label. A full wrapper is folded around an unopened snack bag and secured with tape or glue.
A chip bag is the actual sealed package that holds the food. A party wrapper or label generally does not touch the food or replace the original package's sealing, freshness protection, or required product information.
What events can I create custom chip bags for?
You can create custom chip bags for birthdays, graduations, weddings, anniversaries, baby showers, family gatherings, company events, and holiday parties. Add personal photos, names, ages, dates, school colors, or short messages to match the celebration.
Small party supply sellers can also create separate designs for different customers and use Edit label to make final changes.
Can I add a barcode and Nutrition Facts panel?
Yes. If your final barcode and Nutrition Facts panel are not ready, Packify generates placeholders so you can evaluate the layout before those details are confirmed.
When the final assets are ready, upload them and enter a prompt such as, “Use this Nutrition Facts panel and barcode in the label.” Always check the text, numbers, placement, and barcode readability before printing. Labels for food sold to consumers must use accurate information and meet applicable regulations.
Is the chip bag label maker free to use?
After registering for Packify, your account receives a number of credits that can be used to generate chip bag label designs. Check your remaining credit balance before generating. If you need additional credits or want access to more features, review the available options on our Pricing Page.
